Homes

  
 
The kids love to hold Ephraim.  They don't get to a lot because he is either sleeping or eating.

 
The other day Thaddeus was holding him and he just stared at him and reached for his face, mostly unsuccessfully :)  It was so sweet!  Ephraim does this cute thing all my kids did at one time or another.  When he is tired his breathing gets funny and sometimes his eyelids follow his breathing pattern, breathe in, eyelids open, breathe out, eyelids close, and he breathes a little fast so his eyelids are racing to keep up.  It makes me smile :)

My sister came to take care of me a few days after I had Ephraim.  (She did a wonderful job and we wish she would come back!)  While she was here we got to talking about modesty and she mentioned a couple of her daughters friends who come over to her house and they are dressed immodestly and how she wished they wouldn't because she has 4 sons also living in that house who then have to look at that girl.  Anyway, I told her she had the right to ask those girls to dress modestly if they wanted to come over.  Well, she did.  It made me think about how much junk we allow into our home because the world has convinced us to be "tolerant".  I think that in my home, I have all the say in the world about anything and everything.  No one has the right to do something in my home that I don't want them to.  I have the right to censor things, and even people if it doesn't meet our standards.  And so do you.
