"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

2/9-2/15/14

Grace is doing spelling tests at school now, she is pretty awesome!  This was her 2nd time through a list of words she brought home.

We were getting ready to pick up Grace and I set him down.  When I came back to him, he was asleep!

Madelyn will go in the potty sometimes.  When she was in the tub she acted like she needed to go poop, so I put her on the potty.  I did it twice and she didn't go either time.  I left for a minute, and told her not to poop in the tub.  When I cam back I saw that brown spot on the floor, at least she hadn't done it in the tub!!

Grace and Madelyn dressed up for valentines day

Thaddeus finally gave up his Lightening McQueen shirt because it is too small, and he tried it on Madelyn.  She kept it on all day

2/2-2/8/14

Grace lost her last front tooth.  It was loose for quite some time!

Grace making her own valentines for her classmates.

She still LOVES to hold him.  She sits down, pats her lap and says, "ap, ap" (lap)

Can't you imagine him saying, "What up, home dog?" or something like that :)

Last Week

Our goings on this week:

Thaddeus and Madelyn built a fort.  We've been playing a lot inside because it has been cold and yucky outside.

Ephraim is 1 month old!  He weighs 9lbs 12 oz, 2lbs and 12 oz more than he did at birth!  He has grown and inch in length and in his head circumference.  He is as healthy as a horse!

Grant went to check on the kids the other night and found Grace like this.  We figured she was having a dream about a dog licking her face and was trying to stop it :)  (that is a stuffed puppy on her chest)
