"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

December and January

December was full, I think it is for everyone.  This is Thaddeus' school concert.  Kindergartners are SO adorable!  No picture of Grace's class, but I have videos.

Grace had her first piano recital.  A small shindig with just family, But Grandma and Grandpa and an Aunt were visiting so it was special!  That is her teacher, she is a girl from our ward we just love!

Matching Christmas Jammies, because I can!  The girls have bright yellow leggings you can't see, they poke out sometimes and are fun!

Ephraim turned 1!  We got him a little people bus, and I remembered why I don't have to get one year old's anything!  He plays with it a little, but Madelyn has pretty much claimed it.

He gave us a good messy picture though!

Paper bag vests, who needs real clothes?

We also attended a wedding, Grant's youngest sister.  I don't have that picture on my computer so this preview picture will have to suffice.  I made the skirts and bow ties for the boys.  All the girls matched.  They were pretty cute!

Thaddeus lost 2 teeth!

I don't remember why, but we were slurping milk off the table.  Probably because it spilled would be my guess :)

And this one is just funny.
