"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Our lives

The children as of today
I was taking 3 month pics and Grace wanted to pose as well. Doesn't it look like an old couple with the husband's hands on the shoulders of his wife? Funny I thought.

Yeah, I'm 3 months and still have eyes! He is almost always this happy, true story!

Grace's cute bouffant hairdo with a bow.

I went out to water the garden and told Grace to get some clothes on and come with me. I went out the door (Grant was home) thinking she wouldn't, and about the time I was finishing she comes around the corner looking like this! Grant said she dressed herself! I was so proud!

This is my horrible mom moment. I was trimming his nails and got his thumb. Took out a good chunk and it wouldn't stop bleeding. Plus, he plays with his thumbs and kept tearing off the band aids, I think I went through about 7!

Life has gotten better!!!!! Grant quit his evening job and we are now down to one job and school! I haven't gotten to really feel what it is like to have a husband at home in the evenings because my sister came up from Utah to visit so I was over there a lot this last week. I am looking forward to this week! We can actually have family home evening, and late Friday evening date nights (after the kids are in bed) and go to the park at night, maybe, if Grant doesn't have a ton of homework!
Thaddeus is now 3 months old and happy, as long as I stay away from chocolate ;) I don't know how much he weighs but there is a 4 1/2 month old in our ward and TD is bigger!

How fun! It looks like you guys are doing well! I sadly did that to Joseph once. I made Gene cut his nails for months. I only just started cutting them again the last couple of times. Grace is so grown up:)
