"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

And another thing.....

I wrote in my last post about how we lost a wonderful nephew a couple weeks ago.  I think it is interesting that not 2 days before we lost him, we found out that another boy would be joining our family.

I don't think I have ever divulged this information publicly, but between Thaddeus and Madelyn we miss-carried.  It made me very cautious to tell anyone I was pregnant.  I never actually told that many people I was pregnant with Madelyn, afraid I would have to turn around and tell them I wasn't anymore.  I kinda just grew and grew until some of the girls in my ward started asking me questions :)  I started telling people a little sooner with this guy.  Anyway, he is due December 28 and my oldest two are so excited for a brother.  Grace, from the beginning has said we needed a boy, since she already has a sister, Thaddeus needed a brother.  How selfless of her :)  Everything is just fine and I am just tired, as is every mother of 3, pregnant or not.......
